Like Sparks Darting Through Stubble: A Meditative Writing Retreat, with Meg Ashcroft

Saturday, October 26, 2019, 9AM - 4PM, at Santa Maria de la Vid (Norbertine) Abbey, 5825 Coors Blvd. SW, Abq.

Ordinary people in the New Testament are routinely referred to as "holy ones." We know that these early Christians were far from perfect, as St. Paul often addressed letters to them about their faults! Jesus himself constantly interacted with individuals who could not be mistaken for saints. Still there's no denying that we are ALL called to holiness because we are all made in the image and likeness of the Holy One. This meditative writing retreat will explore what various people have to say about holiness, and help us see how each of us walks a unique path of holiness in our everyday lives.

The offering for the retreat day is $55.00, which includes lunch. All are welcome to participate - no writing experience is necessary. Please register by Monday, October 21, by calling (505) 873-4399 or emailing [email protected]
